This Shipping Policy applies to all orders shipped by Graceful Soles LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including standard products, pre-orders, returns, and exchanges. We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery while striving for an excellent customer experience.
2. Selection of Carriers
2.1 We partner with logistics providers that meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
2.2 Carriers are selected based on service quality, reliability, delivery network coverage, and cost-effectiveness for the specific destination and shipment type.
3. Shipping Methods & Destinations
3.1 Contiguous United States (Lower 48): Primarily shipped via carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS, depending on service level chosen at checkout (e.g., Standard, Expedited).
3.2 Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam): Shipped via USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, or UPS. Additional shipping charges and longer transit times apply.
3.3 International Shipments: Available to select countries. Carrier options (e.g., FedEx International, UPS Worldwide, DHL, USPS International) and costs will be displayed at checkout based on the destination address. Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or fees.
3.4 Special Items: High-value, fragile, oversized, or temperature-sensitive items may require specific shipping methods or carriers, which will be communicated during checkout or order processing.
4. Order Processing & Shipping Timeframes
4.1 Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Mountain Time) on a business day (Monday-Friday, excluding US federal holidays) are typically processed and shipped the same day, subject to payment verification and product availability. Pre-orders, custom items, or items noted otherwise on the product page are exceptions.
4.2 Orders placed after 12:00 PM MT, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.
4.3 Items marked with specific processing times (e.g., “Ships within 3-5 business days,” “Pre-order: Ships by [Date]”) will follow the timeframe stated on the product page.
4.4 Transit times begin once the carrier has scanned and accepted the package. Estimated delivery dates provided at checkout or via tracking are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by factors beyond our control.
5. Shipping Fees
5.1 Contiguous US: Free standard shipping is offered on orders over $[Your Amount] USD. Orders below this threshold will incur a calculated shipping fee displayed at checkout.
5.2 Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories: A shipping surcharge applies. The exact amount will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
5.3 International: Shipping fees are calculated based on destination, package weight/dimensions, and carrier service. The exact cost will be displayed at checkout before payment is finalized. Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by the destination country.
6. Returns & Exchanges: Shipping Responsibilities
6.1 Company Error (e.g., defective item, incorrect item shipped): We will cover the cost of return shipping for the original item and the cost of shipping the replacement or refund.
6.2 Customer-Initiated Return/Exchange (e.g., size, style, change of mind): Provided the return is within our stated return window (typically 30 days from delivery) and the item is unused, in original condition with tags/packaging:
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping to our designated facility.
Graceful Soles LLC will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item for exchanges. For refunds, only the original item cost (minus any original shipping fees if applicable) will be refunded.
6.3 Refused or Undeliverable Shipments: If a shipment is refused by the recipient or returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or insufficient address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees incurred. Refunds will be issued minus these costs.
7. Risk of Loss & Title
The risk of loss and title for the products you order passes to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier for shipment. Once the carrier scans the package into their system, responsibility for the package in transit lies with the carrier.
8. Prohibited & Restricted Items
We comply with all applicable laws and carrier regulations regarding prohibited and restricted items. Customers are responsible for ensuring items ordered comply with the laws of the destination country/region. Restrictions may apply to certain items like aerosols, batteries, or liquids for international shipments.
9. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). You can track your package directly on the carrier’s website using this number.
10. Force Majeure
Graceful Soles LLC shall not be liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, severe weather, or carrier service disruptions.
11. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website (www.gracefulsoles.com/shipping-policy). Changes become effective immediately upon posting.
